The space

The sofa opens into a queen bed when a second relative drives in for a few days. There is a smart TV in the living room and in each bedroom, and the washer and dryer are in the apartment, so nobody is hunting for quarters mid-treatment.

The neighborhood
UH Seidman Cancer Center and UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital are both part of University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, five minutes away by car. The Cleveland Clinic's main campus is two minutes in the other direction and Case Western Reserve University sits between them. On a slow afternoon the Cleveland Museum of Art is three minutes and the Cleveland Botanical Garden four, and both are warmer places to spend an hour than a lobby. Little Italy is six minutes out and downtown Cleveland twelve.
