A furnished two bedroom, two bathroom apartment directly across from Cleveland Clinic's main campus in Fairfax, Cleveland. The second bathroom is the point: a 5am hospital start and a slow morning can happen in the same apartment without anyone waiting.

The space
One bedroom has a king bed, the other a queen, and each has its own closet with hangers and shelving, blackout roller blinds and a ceiling fan. The living room has a full-size sofa that opens into a queen bed, plus a love seat, so six people have somewhere to sit and somewhere to sleep. One bathroom has a shower with a bathtub, which is the one to give whoever wants to soak at the end of a long day; the other has a glass-door shower. The kitchen has quartz counters, full-size stainless appliances and enough counter for two people cooking at once. A desk handles the work that follows somebody here. Hardwood floors run through the common areas and both bedrooms.

The neighborhood
The campus opposite is close enough that visiting hours do not require planning a drive. Taussig Cancer Center and Cole Eye Institute are part of it. Meijer Fairfax Market downstairs is a full grocery store, which matters when a stay runs long and everyone eats at a different hour. Case Western Reserve University is two minutes by car, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital four and University Hospitals five. Downtown Cleveland is twelve minutes and the airport fifteen for the family member flying in for a week.
