the best option for cleveland clinic extended stays

An extended stay at Nearwell is a furnished apartment you book by the week or the month, two minutes from Cleveland Clinic main campus. Most guests arrive with a date range that ends up changing. You extend by message, keep the same apartment, and never repack.

Set up for a month, not a night

Full-size appliances and a washer and dryer inside the unit, because a month of laundry is a different problem than one night of it. Utilities and Wi-Fi included. Pets welcome.

Hotel or apartment

Looking for an extended stay hotel near Cleveland Clinic?

Most people start there. It is the phrase everyone knows for staying longer than a few nights. Here is how the two actually differ, and when each one wins.

Choose a hotel

If your trip is short

  • You don't need to stay near the Cleveland Clinic
  • You have no intention of cooking
  • You want a front desk and daily housekeeping

Choose an apartment

If your stay runs long

  • You are staying longer than a week
  • Someone came with you
  • You are managing a diet after surgery
  • You need to do laundry more than once
  • You brought a pet

An extended stay hotel gives you a room with a kitchenette and a front desk. A Nearwell apartment gives you a separate bedroom, a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator and oven, your own washer and dryer, and a door that closes between you and everyone else.

Longer stays

What a month needs that a weekend doesn't

A gym downstairs, a market in the building, a room that isn't yours. None of it changes a two-night trip. Over a month it decides whether you are living here or only sleeping here.

A gym in the building

Several buildings have a private gym on site, so keeping your routine does not require a car or a membership.

Groceries downstairs

Our main building near Cleveland Clinic has a full Meijer market on the ground floor. Cooking for a special diet gets a lot simpler.

Someone here overnight

On-site security seven days a week, including overnight, with secure building access for early appointments and late arrivals.

Some of this is building-specific. Tell us what matters most for your stay and we will point you at the right one.

Shared spaces

Somewhere to go that isn't the apartment

A month indoors is a long month. These are the shared spaces across Nearwell buildings. Which ones you get depends on where you stay, so tell us what matters to you and we will point you at the right building.

Mobility

Step-in showers, no tub to climb over

Most of our bathrooms have a step-in shower instead of a bathtub, and several have a built-in seat. For someone recovering from surgery, or arriving with a walker, that one difference matters more than almost anything else in the apartment.

Needs vary and so do our buildings. Tell us yours before you book and we will tell you honestly which apartments work for you and which do not.
