Six people fit in this furnished two-bedroom in Little Italy, Cleveland, and the Little Italy-University Circle RTA Red Line station is a short walk off, which makes a month here workable without a car. University Circle is a few blocks west, with Case Western Reserve University and Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital a minute out by car.

The space
Both bedrooms have a queen bed, and the living room sofa opens into a queen, so six people sleep without anyone taking the floor. The kitchen runs into the open living and dining area and has a dishwasher, a stove and oven, and a table with room for the group. Two patios have seating, one off the living space and one off a bedroom, which gives somebody a place to take a phone call while the rest of the apartment carries on. Wood floors run through the common rooms, carpet in the bedrooms. There is a 50-inch TV and two accent chairs in the living area, and one bathroom with a large shower.

The neighborhood
This is one of the few Cleveland neighborhoods where you can park on arrival and leave the car alone. Bread, coffee, groceries and dinner all sit inside a few blocks, on Murray Hill Road and Mayfield Road. The Red Line station at the edge of the neighborhood runs downtown and out to the airport with no transfer, and the museum district begins at the other end of the street grid: the Cleveland Botanical Garden, Severance Music Center, the Cleveland Museum of Art and the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center campus. Lake View Cemetery is a short walk east. For a family holding an apartment for a month while someone is in treatment, most of what you need is reachable on foot.
