The space
The living and dining area runs open from the kitchen, with hardwood underfoot and oversized windows and a patio door along one wall. The kitchen has quartz counters and stainless appliances, and a quartz bar with stools sits between it and the living room, which is where most people end up eating. Both bedrooms have a queen bed, a closet with hangers and shelving, and premium blinds that hold the light out when someone needs to sleep during the day. The sofa opens into a queen bed, so a sixth guest can stay without anyone giving up a room. Two full bathrooms let two schedules run in parallel in the morning. The washer and dryer are in the unit, which starts to matter once a stay runs past a week.

The neighborhood
University Circle packs hospitals, two universities and most of Cleveland's museums into about a square mile. From here it is three minutes to the Cleveland Museum of Art and Severance Music Center, three to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and four to the Cleveland Botanical Garden. The RTA HealthLine runs along Euclid Avenue through the Circle and into downtown, which is useful on days you would rather not drive. Little Italy is six minutes out, and downtown Cleveland twelve.
