The space
The apartment takes the upper two levels of a quiet duplex, so it is yours from the stairs up. A king in one bedroom, a queen in each of the others, all with closets, hangers, shelving, premium blinds and a smart TV. The kitchen has butcher block counters and stainless appliances and opens onto the living and dining area, where a leather sofa and an accent chair sit under large windows. Two full bathrooms with glass-door showers keep six people from queuing at six in the morning. There is a work desk for whoever still has a job to do, the washer and dryer are in the unit, and the WiFi runs at 300 mbps, which holds up when one person is on a call and another is streaming.

The neighborhood
Fairfax puts the Cleveland Clinic's main campus within a ten-minute walk, which is the whole point when a family is splitting shifts at a bedside and someone always needs to go back. University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University are both three minutes by car, and UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital is four. When someone needs an hour away, University Circle is four minutes out with the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and the Cleveland Botanical Garden. Little Italy is six minutes for dinner and downtown Cleveland twelve.
