Cleveland Clinic's main campus has two visitor garages, and your appointment letter may not say which one is yours. The rates went up in 2025, and the weekly pass stopped being unlimited in 2026.

You have the appointment letter open on your phone. It gives you a building, a desk and a time. Then you turn onto Euclid Avenue and the signs offer two garages, a valet lane and a surface lot, and the letter has nothing to say about any of them.
Pick the wrong garage and the day starts with a long walk across campus. Come back every day for three weeks without a pass and you pay more than twice what you needed to.
Cleveland Clinic's main campus has two visitor garages. P1, on East 93rd Street, serves the Miller Family Pavilion and the buildings connected to it. P2, on East 100th Street, serves the Crile Building, Taussig Cancer Center and Cole Eye Institute. The first hour is free, a full day is $12, and a stay of five days or more is capped at $60. If you are coming back several times, a multi-visit pass brings each visit down to between $3.43 and $5.14.
A word on why a housing company keeps a page about parking. Nearwell manages furnished apartments in 11 buildings around main campus and has hosted patients and their families here for more than five years. Our guests make this drive, or this walk, every day of their stay. Getting it wrong costs them time on the mornings that matter most, so we check these figures against Cleveland Clinic's own pages and put the date at the bottom.
Every building on main campus has a letter. Find yours in the left column. The parking column is Cleveland Clinic's own recommendation from its parking page.
| Your building | Letter | Where Cleveland Clinic says to park |
|---|---|---|
| Miller Family Pavilion and connected buildings | F, G, H, J, M, Q, S, T | P1, or valet |
| Children's Outpatient Center | R | P1, or valet |
| Crile Building | A | P2, the accessible lot at East 100th and Carnegie, or valet |
| Taussig Cancer Center | CA | P2, or valet |
| Cole Eye Institute | i | Valet, or P2 |
| Education Building and Lerner Research Institute | N | P2 |
| Emergency | E | Surface lot reached from East 90th and Cedar |
| Mellen Center | U | Surface lot reached from East 89th Street |
| Centers for Geriatric and Diabetes Care | X | Surface lot reached from Carnegie Avenue |
One warning Cleveland Clinic attaches to Cole Eye: using P2 "will require you to walk 4 streets blocks, so plan accordingly." If walking that far is hard for you, valet at the Cole Eye entrance is the closer option on weekdays.
If your letter is not in the table, our Cleveland Clinic main campus guide lists every building by letter and address.
If your appointment is at University Hospitals, about a mile east on Euclid Avenue, these garages are not yours. UH has its own. If you are staying for that visit, see housing near University Hospitals.
These are the self-parking rates on Cleveland Clinic's parking page, read on October 5, 2026. They apply to both garages.
These are visitor rates. Staff, contract clinicians and students park under different rules: see a travel nurse's first week in Cleveland and Cleveland Clinic student housing.
| Time of stay | Rate |
|---|---|
| Up to 1 hour | Free |
| 1 to 2 hours | $5 |
| 2 to 3 hours | $7 |
| 3 to 4 hours | $10 |
| 4 to 24 hours | $12 |
| 5 days or more | $60 maximum |
| Lost ticket | $12 |
You pay before you go back to your car. Cleveland Clinic's campus map lists pay stations in four places:
Cleveland Clinic sells two multi-visit passes for self-parking:
| Pass | Price | Cost per visit |
|---|---|---|
| 7 visits | $36 | $5.14 |
| 35 visits | $120 | $3.43 |
The cost per visit is our arithmetic. The rules are Cleveland Clinic's: "1 Visit = 1 Entry + 1 Exit. May be used multiple times per day. Does not have to be used consecutive days."
Three cases, worked through with the published rates:
You drive in every day for a week to visit someone. Seven separate days at the daily rate is $84. A 7-visit pass is $36.
You come for treatment five days a week for five weeks. That is 25 visits. A 35-visit pass is $120, and you have ten visits left for follow-ups. Paying by the day would be $300 if each visit runs over four hours.
Your visits are short. A visit of one to two hours costs $5 at the gate, which is less than a 7-visit pass works out to per visit. The 7-visit pass only saves money when your visits usually run longer than two hours. The 35-visit pass is cheaper than the gate rate for any visit over an hour.
Where to buy a pass:
The $60 maximum is for a car that is here five days or more. Cleveland Clinic does not explain how it is applied, so ask the cashier before you rely on it.
Valet is $14 a day, with a $70 maximum for five days or more. Cleveland Clinic notes that a credit card is preferred.
| Valet stand | Hours |
|---|---|
| Main entrance, Miller Family Pavilion (J) | 24 hours a day, every day |
| Crile Building (A) | Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
| Taussig Cancer Center (CA) | Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
| Cole Eye Institute (i) | Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
| Children's Outpatient Center (R) | Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
On evenings and weekends, the main entrance is the only valet stand open.
Cleveland Clinic tells main campus surgical patients to park at P1 and come in through the Miller Family Pavilion, which is the main entrance. The check-in desk is J1-9 unless your scheduler gave you a different one. Valet is available at the same entrance.
The part families miss is that you leave from a different building. Cleveland Clinic's instruction:
Following your procedure, you will be discharged through the Glickman Tower (Q building, 2050 E. 96th Street, Cleveland, Ohio, 44106) on E 96th Street between Euclid Avenue and Carnegie Avenue. Friends or family members may collect their car from the parking garage or valet and navigate to the E 96th St. discharge location to pick you up.
So the person driving parks at P1 on East 93rd Street in the morning and pulls up on East 96th Street for the pick-up. It helps to find that entrance before the day itself.
For the rest of the trip, how long you will be in Cleveland collects the stay lengths Cleveland Clinic publishes, and whether a family member can stay overnight covers the person waiting.
If you are told to report to the Walker Center, that building has its own parking on site.
P1 is at East 93rd Street and Chester Avenue. The entrance is on East 93rd, between Euclid and Chester. From Chester you can turn in from either direction. From Euclid, only westbound traffic can turn in directly. If you are heading east on Euclid, go around the block and come in from Chester. Once you have parked, a tunnel at Level B takes you into the hospital. P1 also has EV charging.
Navigation apps show two addresses for P1: 1954 East 93rd Street and 9211 Euclid Avenue. Cleveland Clinic uses both. They are the same garage.
P2 is at 2101 East 100th Street, at Carnegie Avenue. Its third floor connects to a skyway that reaches the Cole Eye, Crile and Taussig buildings and the rest of main campus. A golf-cart shuttle runs from P2 to Taussig, the Crile Building and Glickman Tower.
East 100th Street is closed between the P2 garage and Cedar Avenue. The closure began in October 2023 and Cleveland Clinic describes it as long term. You can still reach P2, but only from the Carnegie Avenue side:
Cleveland Clinic recommends adding about 20 minutes to your travel time while the closure lasts.
Arriving without a car? Getting from Cleveland Hopkins Airport to Cleveland Clinic covers the train and the taxi.
Parking Services answers 24 hours a day at 216.444.2255. Cleveland Clinic lists battery starts, key retrieval, tire changes, tire inflation and help finding a lost car.
Cleveland Clinic Police will walk or drive you to your car at any hour. Call 216.444.2250 and ask for a safety escort. Escorts cover Cleveland Clinic property only.
Cleveland Clinic raised its parking rates in 2025 and changed its passes in 2026. Many pages around the web still show the old figures. If you find a number that does not match the tables above, this is probably why:
| Until mid-2025 | Now | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 2 hours | $4 | $5 |
| 2 to 3 hours | $6 | $7 |
| 3 to 4 hours | $8 | $10 |
| Daily maximum | $10 | $12 |
| Valet | $12, or $10 with a senior discount | $14, no senior rate listed |
The passes changed twice. In 2025 the 7-day and 30-day unlimited passes went from $30 and $100 to $36 and $120. In 2026 Cleveland Clinic replaced them with passes that count visits: 7 visits for $36 and 35 visits for $120. If you bought an unlimited pass on an earlier trip, the current one works differently, and a week of several trips a day will use it up faster.
We looked for each of these on the parking page, the campus map, the accessibility page and both garage pages, and could not find it stated. Ask rather than assume.
Parking Services, at 216.444.2255, is the place to ask.
Run the numbers for a three-week stay with a visit every day. That is 21 trips into a garage. At the daily rate it comes to $252. With a 35-visit pass it is $120. Those are the two prices Cleveland Clinic publishes for the same three weeks, and the pass is the better one.
There is a third figure, and it is zero. If the place you are staying is within walking distance of your building, the car does not go into a Cleveland Clinic garage at all.
This is the part of the question we know from our own side. About 30 of our apartments are a walk from main campus. One building sits across from it, with a Cleveland Clinic shuttle stop at the front door. Every Nearwell apartment comes with free parking, so on those stays the car stays put and the garage rates above stop applying to you.
The rest of our apartments are a few minutes' drive away. From those you still park at P1 or P2, and everything on this page still applies. The difference is at the other end of the day: the car has a free place to go back to.
If you are still deciding where to stay, our patient and family housing page shows the apartments closest to main campus, and extended stays near Cleveland Clinic covers what changes when treatment runs for weeks. For building letters, the shuttle and everything else about arriving, see the Cleveland Clinic main campus guide.
The first hour is free. After that it is $5 for one to two hours, $7 for two to three, $10 for three to four, and $12 for four to 24 hours. A stay of five days or more has a $60 maximum. Valet is $14 a day.
The first hour in the visitor garages is free. Cleveland Clinic publishes no free parking beyond that and no validation program.
P1, at East 93rd Street and Chester Avenue, for the Miller Family Pavilion and buildings F, G, H, J, M, Q, R, S and T. P2, at East 100th Street and Carnegie Avenue, for the Crile Building, Taussig Cancer Center, Cole Eye Institute and the Lerner building.
It sells multi-visit passes: 7 visits for $36 and 35 visits for $120. One visit is one entry and one exit, and the visits do not have to be on consecutive days. The 7-day unlimited pass it sold until early 2026 is no longer listed.
Cleveland Clinic directs main campus surgical patients to the P1 garage and the Miller Family Pavilion entrance, with check-in at desk J1-9 unless your scheduler says otherwise. Patients are discharged from Glickman Tower on East 96th Street, so the pick-up is at a different building.
